Description

Mare Red is a specialty coffee from Brazil’s Matas de Minas region. Artisan-roasted by MAHA Coffee Roaster in Dijon, it offers a fruity, indulgent profile balancing stone fruit, caramel and red berries.

This coffee combines Yellow Catuai and Red Catuai varieties grown between 900 and 1,400 metres above sea level. The cherries are selectively machine-harvested, then dried outdoors using a traditional natural process. The lot is produced by a family-run exporter committed to improving quality and controlling post-harvest processing.

In the cup, Mare Red reveals notes of peach, nectarine, dried apricot and raspberry, alongside dark caramel, hazelnut cream, grapefruit and vanilla. It has gentle acidity, a medium body and a creamy texture. Available as whole beans or ground to suit your brewing method.
