Description
Sun Drop is a specialty coffee from Brazil, produced by Daterra Coffee at Boa Vista Farm in the Cerrado Mineiro region. Artisan-roasted by MAHA Coffee Roaster in Dijon, this microlot offers an intense, highly fruity cup with remarkable sweetness.
Bourbon and Paraiso varieties are grown at 1,150 metres above sea level. The cherries are selectively machine-harvested, then dried outdoors using a traditional natural process. Vacuum-packed at origin, this coffee from the Daterra Collection scores 87 SCA points.
In the cup, Sun Drop develops notes of very ripe fruit, dark caramel, hazelnut cream, raspberry, peach and dried apricot, extended by a touch of grapefruit and vanilla. Its acidity is gentle, with a medium body and a supple texture. Available as whole beans or ground to suit your brewing method.
